i bought a posi carrier a probably 2 years ago at a swap meet, it was said to be for 7.5" 26 spline rear, i spent 50 bucks on it. i originally was going to put it in the cutlass i had at purchase time, but decided it wasnt even worth it. id kinda like to put it in my monte with a set of 3.42s or 3.73s. where my question comes in is, how do identfy whether this is a 2 or 3 series carrier, cause i know that kinda determines what specific gear set i need to buy. just tryin to figure it out, cause theres a swap meet coming up and theres generally alot of brand new in the gear sets around there, so i figure this is my chance to maybe get some 2 tire fire action without breaking the bank. thanks, also if theres any way to make sure that what i bought is actually operable thated be great
