Weiand Intake 8004

I have an 80 cutlass with the 305 stock 4bbl carb. I have read that this intake will fit and work properly with my set up. Has anyone used one or have any feedback?
I can get it very cheap so I am going to try it.

The 8004 is the same as an Edelbrock Performer, a dual plane intake designed for off idle to 5500 rpm. It will work with a stock engine, and quadrajet carb. Some have provisions for EGR and some dont. I ran one for a long time great intake for a mildly built or stock engine.

Are you looking at purchasing one that is used? I believe they discontinued the 8004 and are Street Warrior intakes now.
I have used the 8004 on mild 350 sbc's and they work well, I basically bought the Weiand since at that time it was cheaper than the comparable Edelbrock Performer 2101 but I think Weiand's have past Edelbrock in price now.
They are both good stock to mild intakes plus if you are replacing a cast iron intake the weight savings is nice.
