So, I was changing the ball joints on my thunderbird (at least 3 of the 4 have been changed. 1 of them was the ORIGINAL as far as I could tell. 45 years old lol) and as I was doing the old jack under the lower control arm so the spring wont catapult itself into my neighbors living room, it actually RAISED the 4500lb (or about 2250lbs i guess for the front end) about an inch and a half. So, I take it that means my 45 year old springs are still good? As with the shocks, I can compress them with a finger and the stud stays in the tube. So, at least new shocks.
