What all inner fenders interchange for my 78 Salon aero?

I went to a salvage yard this morning. He had a few 81-up Cutlasses. I need both inner fenders and want to make sure I know what interchanges with my 78 Olds Salon aero. I also might add that I've already bought a new radiator overflow bottle for the 78. HELP!

I have a 79 Calais and when I was looking for a inner fender all the 78-80 Cutlass where the same. The only thing is that I seen every type of Cutlass from 78-80 innner fender but your car. With that said, I believe you will need an inner fender from a 78-80, but I am not 100% sure about your car.

IT should fit. All 78-88 G-body inner fenders are all about the same with little differences. I have a inner fender from a 82 Monte Carlo on my 78 El Camino.

There are a lot of variants between g-bodies...

You should be able to use inners from '78-'80 Cutlass 2-drs, '78-'87 Cutlass sedans, or '78-'83 Cutlass wagons.
'81-'88 Cutlass 2-drs are totally different and will definitely not work, nor will parts from another brand (Chev, Buick, etc)...

I tried a set from a 86 Monte Carlo and they DO NOT WORK. The holes are not even in the same zip code.

the Buicks have completely different inner wheel wells also.

On the topic on inner wheel wells. I have the 78-9 Olds wagon fenders, on my Buick. I now need inner wheel wells. I wonder in the monte/malibu would fit? I have had plently on monte/malibu/el camino's, they look the same from memory.

Any input?

i just sold the last of my "butless cutlass" parts(2 fenders,with inners,and the entire interior)but i still have the some near mint grills??? 8) (pm me if interested)blake is he man when it comes to interchangeability on these olds a/g bodies :wink: DOUG213xrg: so you didnt have to do any modification to the mc inners when installing them on the 78 elco???? ive done 6 header/nose/front clip conversions,involving mc's and elco's(4 luxury sport and 2 SS's)and i thought the inner wells were interchangable,but ran into fitment problems with bolt alighnment and the lower "splash sheilds"(COMPLETLY differrent)these were all 82-88 elco's and 86-88 mc's,hmmmmmmmmm.....
