What brand dolly can hold a 600 lb V-8?

I decided to build my own and can make anything I want. I have lumber and I found these at HD pretty cheaply. They are double bearing five inch poly wheels.

What configuration? Two long sides made with 2x4's? Then planks connecting them? Or more 2x4's at the ends? Then a big plank covering the whole thing? As much as I like the oil pan hanging through a center hole- I often really need a solid top that can hold stuff like transmissions. I am leaning towards a rectangular shape made with the 2x4's but with removable center sections. I am thinking 2'x3' or bigger.

I’m in Florida right now when I get back home I can take some pictures I made my stands out of angle iron everyone ended up being a different size because I used whatever scraps I could find

Angle iron? I have a lot of that too. Hmmmm. I have a dolly that is angle iron and I place planks inside depending on what I need it for. But on that one the wheels suck so just use it to store heavy stuff. Good idea- I didn't even think of that.

I got a Latin from blains farm and fleet some years ago. It took a fully dressed BBO. I am pretty sure it was at the limits though and had it stripped down to the block and rotating assembly Pretty quick.

If you are like me and can't weld or fab, and need a storage dolly for a BBO, Jegs sell the Allstar Performance HD Engine Cradle for Oldsmobile.
P# 049-ALL10142 for $82
Add 1/2"stud wheels of your choice.

I'm pretty good at welding but suck at wood unless it's a simple task. But wood is pretty strong and adaptable. The wheels should be here soon and then I will decide. I can use something big for when I need to move a fridge or other big unwieldy item. When I pulled the Jeep engine last year I was forced to use the crappy HF dolly I had and it was worse than bad. I'm still finding errant ball bearings that fell out.

Here is what I did. I used 2x4's and some plywood to build a 2'x3' dolly. The 5" wheels are double ball bearings and together rated to 1320lbs. That should work even if I yank an engine/transmission combination. The wheels and hardware cost about $50 and the wood I had laying around. I ran and jumped on it and I shot down my driveway like it was a big skateboard. I am pretty confident I can move just about anything with this. I only missed with one screw hole but if you knew how bad I am with wood you would be glad it's just one.
