What did you buy for your G-body today? [2024]

Just got another update, this is better but guess I have other stuff to concern myself with anyways

Radio brackets for an '85-'90 Olds 98 (22518376 & 77) sure look a lot like the correct ones for an '84-'88 Cutlass (22519278 & 79) but at a fraction of the cost. I'm hoping they're either the same or close enough to make work.

Annnnd..... you would be right!

A body shop in bridgewater MA had this thing sitting unused for about 40 years. I just needed to rescue it, right?
You're a male version of the crazy cat ladies aren't you, hahaha

Dad and I went to Oklahoma and picked up these:

A legit Limited Slip 8.5" housing from an '87 Buick Grand National, rebuilt factory posi unit, yoke, stock 28 spline axles, brake backing plates, associated hardware, aluminum drums, F41 front sway bar, and steel core support complete with serpentine belt sticker. And an aluminum core support from a '78-'80 Buick/Olds.

No, I didn't win big at the casino next door, someone that owed money paid off their balance in full. So naturally I had to spend it on G Body parts.

Special thanks to member N2BUICK for meeting me in Blackwell and for including extras!

Yeah, it's about halfway between our two locations and the Braums by the turnpike exit made a great meeting place. There doesn't seem to be anything else but a casino and a dispensary but some of the land there is glorious- I think I even saw a hill. Overall it was a pretty good day: I got car parts, a burger, and ice cream with Pops.
