I resigned this week. Moving to another carrier in a different role. More money and less responsibility. Tired of being overworked, underpaid and used. I have not told my team yet as i am not allowed. I had hoped i could hang in there for another 3 years but have had enough.

We took the day off and cleaned out our "combined" deep storage at work yesterday. I won't lie, there was some dust in the air making some eyes water and there may have been a bottle being passed around to help ease the watery eyes at the same time while going thru some of this stuff.

Kids Integra swapped civic ( it may live as my son has some interest ), 4x4 dodge was supposed to be a 440 swap. ( needs starter, but it will become a field truck ), 4.3 Blazer was supposed to be a V8 swap ( will become a field truck ) and at least 6 other projects and most of their parts are in that scrap pile but we have realized they will likely never ever be finished. Combined some of this stuff has been around, moved, stored, moved again for a touch over 20 years. Thought when we got older and the kids were grown there would be more free time like when we kicked around before we all had kids of our own LOL.

Came to the realization when the kid ( good friends son ) passed last year that we are just getting too old and time is becoming too precious to worry about projects we "may" get around to.

So instead of wrenching on old junk ( or work ) today the wife and I will get to spend the day with the the kid's 2 year old and enjoying her every whim 🙂 We have a couple pumpkins to decorate, dogs to walk, and some leaves to mow down after we play in the leaf pile for a while 🙂

I drafted a F U letter to paralegal who think they are representing their client. This paralegal wrote to my client before I was involved and then she referred to that letter in the pleadings. What she has done is turned herself into a witness cause I will be calling her to testify to identify that letter and to question her on it's contents cause they contradict the allegations in the pleadings. I would like to see her expression when she reads my letter explaining to her that she cannot be a witness at a hearing and represent at the same time.....
