What did you do at work today?

Looks like you're training to drive those big yellow trucks with plows cause you know they're always looking for operators. 😉

Might be a moral dilemma to spread all that salt everywhere knowing what it will do to all those cars. 🤣

Who am I kidding, I'd drive one of those things.

The shop has been going through so many office employees lately I've only fixed like 2 cars in the last 3 weeks. Not to mention one of the other A-techs is so bad I have to go over everything he dose. Unfortunately for me I have a heart and won't fire him this time of year like I was told to. Mostly I've been writing estimates and supplements for about a month now. It's actually gotten to the point that the partners are calling the office mine so it may be time for a renegotiation but I don't want to push my luck I'll wait until things are moving smoothly then hit them

Hit them now. Shops are paying through the roof in our area. Everyone is looking and no one is calling. I’m supposed to be assessed after the new year. If it’s not good I’m going back into the field.

As part of Natasha's (and possibly my) transition out of the Army we have been vigorously working on establishing the corporation's footprint in the area. Natasha is working on the raw business side of things (all the paperwork, insurance, and finance stuff that I have no patience for) and I have been actively working on the soft stuff (slogans, mission and vision statements, bios, etc). And most of the day today I have been rapidly opening social media accounts (primaries, and similar ones to limit conflicts) to launch that side of the business. Essentially, everything I do or she does, will get posted to social media to show proof of business. Things like YouTurd and Rumble could generate some form of income on paper (definitely not the focus). Faceballs, Gettr, Twatter, Parler, Instawhore, etc for basic traffic. And we have a domain already, we just need to get it populated with the aforementioned "soft stuff" and linked to a storefront for merch and products.

Our brother-in-law runs one of the largest military-related social media companies in the world (read: in Jeremy Clarkson's voice) today so we know the right guy to get the digital exposure rolling locally and globally.
