Lately there's been a lot of changes at work. I'm a lot more manager than body man and it seems like all I do is put out metaphorical fires and fix other people's total screw up's I think a new partner baught in but I can't confirm that. What I do know is a lot of people are looking to me for answers to really stupid questions and I have a very low tolerance for stupidity and incompetence.

Groom Lake, Area 51, and all that huh? 1 tour left? why, you quitting after 20? that's all good because after that you get to apply for test pilot positions at civilian companies which pay a lot more they will want your test pilot experience and TS clearance. 👍

No Groom Lake, but not too far off. Edwards is in CA. Also not quitting after 20, current plan is at least 22. The Test Pilot School long course is more than just pilots, it's more of a how to test stuff course and they're wrapping in more domains to make it all more inclusive.

Tried installing Windows on my bosses laptop, but it kept giving me issues, data was backed up so it should be all good.

The laptop is about 4 years old, and the hard drive or RAM needs replacement anyways. Bringing my tools tomorrow so it's easy to fix the machine and not show I'm a terrible tech lmfao.

Was driving the biggest in our fleet today, a tandem day cab Volvo with a 48 footer and holy hell it was a challenge! Made it through the day parking in some tight places, no damage, no flat tires, but a decent photo op...
