Tough day at the office!

they even warned me when they hired me 4 yrs ago that there was going to be a lost less work for my position in the future. then covid hit....and there is practically nothing to do. considering that I'm an underpaid government employee who always had to bust my *ss in previous government jobs, I'll look at this as my due. Taking advantage of the free time to get my Masters degree done. started 5 months after Covid sent us home 2 yrs ago and 70% of the way there already, no money out of my pocket. as Peter Gibbons said...

Completely buried. I currently have 7 wet benches to build and they are all in and around my area. Working on four at a time today. Three for Boston college and one for a plastics company.

Had to show a "know it all" co-worker with nearly 40 years of CDL driving how to start a Mack with a Eaton auto shift (has a clutch but shifts like a regular auto trans.) Didn't put one & one together that it still have to push in the clutch to start.

He would probably have trouble with a Lenco Trans then. 2 speed powerglide with a clutch assembly for launch, starts and stops.

looked at and pulled the trigger on a dry 5x10 CNC plasma table yesterday that can be converted to wet ( hoping we can do stainless without the bluing ). Still just 2 guys that grew up poor now with 8 shitty old vehicles, 3 purpose built trailers, and a vision. We both wish we had the wisdom 20 years ago that we have now.
