I swapped out my ECU and started the process of learning how to tune. I have a bunch to learn!!!

With the new one I am able to custom edit the fuel curve and adds more variables to the fuel trim. Also allows me to store and load different tunes for the engine if I want to. Also adds Datalogging of the ECU monitored inputs / outputs. Has adaptive learn like tyhe original, but it allows me to turn it on or off.

Since there's no thread "What did you do to your G-Body yesterday" I finally finished the passenger floor! The seat mounts had some rust so I cut the spots out and patched them because I'm too cheap to buy new seat brackets. Couple of small spots on the drivers side next and on to the crossmember under the rear seat. The rust by the seat bolt was off the seat track, it needs blasted and painted. I used the seat to line up the inner bucket seat tracks on the new pan.

Managed to remove the monster 22” wheels and go back old school.

x I got the wiring harness on and dipstick installed (oversight- had to rearrange the manifold fasteners). She's ready to come off the stand, and bolt to the trans for reinstall!

Yesterday evening I fiddled around with air door tension on the qjet. It's better than it was, but it got dark so I called it quits for the night.

Installed 10-32 heli-coil inserts and stainless steel button head machine screws in my Precision Stock Location Intercooler so I can tighten up them lil buggers so the aluminum shroud won't vibrate. The self tapping sheet metal screws that originally came on the unit are not the best set up.

New window sweeps (yeah I know I should have the wide chrome but the chrome strips were destroyed and it’s impossible to find replacements)

New speakers and replacement 1985 stereo!

Got the new starter in. fits much better then the summit mini starter. have to reinstalled the headers and exhaust . View attachment 83866

What type of starter is it? Did you have to take the headers off to fit it in? That's the cleanest flywheel/converter I've ever seen!
