Yeah... now you say that -- now that you know she's a girl. Lol j/k 😛Joel86Cutlass said:-83MONTESS- said:Damn nice car! Dont listen to the "purists", build YOUR car the way YOU want it!
I never said that it wasn't a nice car, because it is a very nice car. Just not what I would have done. I said that I wouldn't do that but that is just me and anyone can do what they want with their car thats whats great about cars you make them for yourself and not for anybody else. I learned a long time ago that if you try to make you car to please other people you will never be happy with it. I like to keep most of my cars stock because that is what I like. I meant no disrespect with my earlier comment. It is a very nice car and it was done extremely well and looks great. I would rather see people doing things like that with these cars than the ones that just sit and rust away. So yes congratulations on being the owner of a great piece of Oldsmobile history, and welcome.

... I love what you've done. It brings a reall badass attitude to the already cool Hurst
It's super clean, and stays true to the Hurst look. I love the suttle appearance, and definitly one of the classier drag cars I've seen.

There was another thread about 2 weeks ago, where a new guy posted a hello and some pictures of a H/O Hurst Olds and it was modified, it was a well done car but the guys on this board butchered him, like all out bad-mouthed and nobody even welcomed him here (well, I tried to, but he probably left) -- all because of their opinion of what shouldn't have been done to the car. It was brutal, and it was shameful. Maybe because of that thread, people are being extra careful here.
I don't think anyone said anything disrespectufl here at all. Actually VERY well said there Joel86Cutlass... hats off to you.
