This guy did seem honest, I measured 2.07"/1.56" valves. I opened them up to find a cutter was used under the intake valve and the bowl was opened and the guides were machined for positive seals. I got my snap gauges and 0 to 1" micrometer, so I will measure guide clearance since I am not filling the cross overs on these heads, will work fine with my Performer intake. Here are some pics.

First one is the snap gauge, next one is the valve. I read .003 clearance, is that right?

It's a little blurry, but it looks like .0035"

Those heads look like they will flow pretty good for 350 cubes.

I would blend in the machining and the short side radii of the deep throat cuts, but I like to blend.
With the big cross over, more is better. I think they will flow decent, they also have the exhaust air bumps removed.

Pretty sure that is on the loose side of the spec, which is good. 80rocket who works a lot with Olds iron heads said .0028" is the minimum needed, I believe. I will just reassemble and run as is. The unexpected intake throat cut and positive seals were a nice bonus. These heads with the cross over's intact, milder springs, less milling and no port work suit my 350's plans better than the max effort heads on it, those with a 2.07" vs the current 2" will go nicely on the 403 stroker. I think I got my money's worth buying these.

there is a tolerance with almost everything and you're only .0003 over the .0028 so I would put money on it that you well within torlenance

I would grab one of Eastwood's manifold/porting kits and go to town on those heads with the cartridge rolls to blend/smooth the ports and bowls.
