What I found on my "fresh machined" #6 Olds 350 heads

there is a tolerance with almost everything and you're only .0003 over the .0028 so I would put money on it that you well within torlenance
My thoughts exactly, extra on the safe side.
 
I would grab one of Eastwood's manifold/porting kits and go to town on those heads with the cartridge rolls to blend/smooth the ports and bowls.
Tempting but my current heads have a lot of work done. I would reuse them, more of a cruiser this time. These should flow low 200's intake and 150+ exhaust as is.

I, know but you've already taken the valves out... I'd be out in the garage right now with my dremel and a carbide bit, working those... but then I can't help myself.
 
Only one valve set out, in my basement. I know, if I go that far, I may as well strip out the 1.56 exhaust valves and put in the 1.625" valves I have in the shop in #8 heads. Then I may as well get the one head milled slightly and all the valves back cut. It could snow ball quickly.
