Would be the Malibu for me. Something about the squared look of them. I wanted a new one after I graduated high school but couldn't swing it. 1981 black over silver Landau like in the brochure had me drooling...

I've owned 3 Landau cars, along with a couple of hardtop cars since but never the "one" I wanted.

I now have to say if I get another car the 78-80 Cutlass would be my next Gbody if I can find a nice one.

I'm with Kevin on this one. I bought my 65 Malibu in 79. (Still have it) When I saw a 78 Malibu for the first time, I knew I would get one of these new ones. Like Ribbedroof, it just seemed like a pointier, sharper car than my 65, but I could still see the early chevelle in there.

Well, naturally I am partial to my '87 442 but truthfully I had a completely loaded '84 Royal Blue Cutlass Supreme with the matching landau roof I am bummed I don't even have a picture of that was a very sweet ride and my first brand new car so there's a soft spot there and was also partial to the '84 H/O.

First driver for me was a 70 GS that I swapped in a 455.

I love the black and silver Malibu, all time favorite paint.

Like most everyone else here I have a penchant for G-bodies; almost all of them have some form of appeal.

If I was offered a ride in a time machine to go back to 1987 I would order myself a black hard top MCSS with a saddle interior and matching saddle stripes:

Or a 1979 Cutlass H/O hard top W-30:

If are talking about a particular specialty model from a period tuner? Guildstrand MCSS:

Or someone else's car? Stan Davis' Silver State Classic Buick Turbo T. The rolling chassis came up for sale last year - couldn't convince Natasha to let me buy it (being a wrecked race car).
