What makes YOU mad as hell when driving?

well,being a truck driver for more than 10 years, i must say i've seen my share of stuped out on the big road in my time and allot more.but i think most people dont really understand how dangerious a 80,000 lb truck is untill it's to late.i have learned over time that getting mad dont get me where i gotta be so,i just keep a steady pace and mind my own business.i've been in some pretty bad spots and found that if i keep my cool it will pass or they will anyways.while i love to play around with my cars at home,it's all business out here in my truck and speed kills the best driver and road rage will too. so i run steady and consistant and nothing really gets to me anymore.

Im only 15 Tons/driving 13 years and you half to pack your patience cause people do foolish things around large trucks. Yesterday in pouring rain, on a 2 lane road, I'm doing the speed limit (45MPH with assured cleared distance cause people are idiots!) the woman in front of me slams on the brakes and stops because a squirrel ran into the road...... I love cute little fuzzy squirrels too, but if push comes to shove - Squirrel is toast!

I drove a little bitty 2 ton Parcel Post truck for over 20 years. I have to agree with you guys, people are idiots and you have to allow for it. They think you can stop on a dime when they screw up in your path. But damn it, now that I'm retired, I'm completely intolerant of boneheads. I used to have to take a safe driving course every year and all the stuff they said to NEVER do, I see these idiots doing all day long. Worse, their attitude is like "everyone ignores the law, so why get on me?".

The posts by the truckers and other professional drivers seem the wisest ones to me.
My girlfriend is a cab driver and I drive a truck for a living. We come across ******* drivers all the time, over time we have come to the conclusion the best thing is to keep out of their way and not react to them with horns, hand gestures etc. If they involve us in a wreck it will screw up our day regardless of who is at fault.

What makes me mad as hell all the time is the drivers who haven't got insurance, drive drunk or drugged up, use unroadworthy vehicles, and don't trouble to get a licence in the first place.
The majority who do keep their cars legal and roadworthy have to bail out the results of their selfish ignorance with higher insurance premiums and pay more taxes to cover the costs of the damage they do.

Well I own an 86 El Camino with a big block and it is loud. I hate that when I drive and a dude in an import always try to get me to race them or to drive super fast. I like to cruise sometimes and not race or go fast all the time. That is what annoys me the most.

Coming to a complete stop to turn right on a green light kills me, also slowing down to almost a stop to switch lanes to the turning lane.

Just happened today. School bus sitting there with the red lights flashing, while the driver is BSing with a parent and traffic is backed up for blocks! Come on! :evil:

Tailgaters number one.....if you are so close I can't see your lights, and you wanna be a shmuck, you don't get a brake check from me: I shift from OD to 3.....you don't get a notice, but you get a good wake up call.

Number 2: People that won't use a turn lane for turning....just stay in the driving lane and stop.....I get both of these everyday....EVERYDAY
