What stock rims are interchangeable on the g-body? I have a 79' bu' wagon that can with 15' gambler style wheels and honestly, I hate them...lol. I know all other g-body rims swap, but what else? I've heard some bimmer rims have the correct bp. Would all f-body rims fit, does it matter front or rear? I was thinking, I may like some late 70s gold snowflakes on my poly green wagon, but will they fit?

If they were 15s, they will fit. GM was pretty consistent until the late 80's. The 16-17s from F-bodies usually had different back spacing front and rear. 1984+ Corvettes also had different backspacing than all the other 5x4.75 lug patterns.

So it's true that I'd have to use just fronts if I wanted a f-body rim? And if, big if, I wanted some sawblades, they wouldn't fit at all?

You can try wheel spacers. I'd put those on the rear axle, and use the GTA or IROC rears in the back. Search under GTA rims to find comments on the exact wheel spacing, but I thought I recall that there is a 3/4" difference front-rear on those rims. The GTA rims I have are not worth the cost to ship them, except the one shiny rear I bought on EBay. If you lived close enough to pick them up, I'd give them to you. The tires hold air but are old.

S-10 rims will generally fit. I've used both 15" and now 16" S-10's with not issues. I went to 16" because I wanted to do the bigger brake upgrade all around, and new I would need bigger rims, plus I just liked them better

But what about the ok school a-body, rallys mostly, the older f-body, and any vette rims? I was out I'm Daytona today and there was a set of sawblades the guy didn't feel like loading up. New tires, clean rims, just old... Got him down to $150, just couldn't pull the trigger without knowing.
