what should i use to polish my tpi setup?

what should i use to polish my tpi setup? i have a hand held buffer and a bench grinder. what compound? do i need to get a actual bench polisher?

This is going to be a lot of work.
The best tool you can get is a Dremel for all the small nooks and crannys.
You'll have to sand down all the rough cast aluminum with some small flapper wheels, a d.a., or whatever it takes (fingers) starting with 180 and then moving up to 320 grit. Once everything is sanded smooth and in at least 600 grit or finer, you'll need to get some Tripoli compound from Eastwood and a small buffing wheel to start polishing away. Finish it off with White Rouge, and it'll shine like a mirror.

I have polished my heads + water pump on my LT1

I used 250 grit on buffing wheel then brown bar and finish with white bar
be ready to put 6-8 hours on it !

give a look at eastwood the have them all
