The first generation Lincoln Versailles is the one with the narrow 9 inch/disc brakes.

Ford rears are easy, they put a nice stamped tag on them telling you ring gear size, gear ratio, and whether it's a locking diff or not.

Unless it's a hotrodded car, the tags are almost always still on them.

hmmm. Ill check that out, the other granada ive come across, had an 8" and it looked different than that one, but ill have my bro climb under there and look for the tag
