At some point the plan is a Gear Vendors for my Monte.

I'd like to put one of them units in my cutlass as well. I believe they are rated for 2k+ hp.

Considering some of the cars I have seen them in they are probably underrated, I figure for $2600 I get over/underdrive versus buying an overdrive trans that will handle the power that would be more than double that price.

Nice did you have to rework tunnel to get it to fit?

Not at all--not even a single dimple. I am going to need to customize my shifter cable bracket, though, as the one from my donor Express van does hit the tunnel.

Mine has an original Doug Nash 4+1 5 speed.
Been rebuilt a few times...
