Maybe he meant to say "you don't see too many one cam engines these days".

I was thinking that he meant there are not too many engines that do not have overhead cams but i could be wrong......are there any engines with duel cams that are not overhead cams?

I would have to say the 4.1 V-6 That Gm only used one year on the Grand prix, I have had 2 1982 grand prix LJ's with that junk motor, it's just like the 3.8 v-6. 231 and 252 V-6 JUNK!!!

I now work at the local pontiac dealership and overall the 3800's seem to hold up pretty well. They have far fewer problems than most GM V6's. The only V6 I would prefer to the 3.8 is the 4.3.

the 3.8 is a great motor, had several, all problem free. as long as it was teh Buick 231, the chevy 229 was crap. The Buick is probably right there with the 4.3.
