worse case scenario, get some spray plasti-dip, and spray the centers... that way you know you'll like it or hate it before it becomes permanent.

I also agree with leaving the lip polished, I don't think the wheel would look right completely colored on your car, and would take away from the total package. sweet lookin GP btw! 8)

I agree. Make the "star" flat black and leave the lip nice and shiny. It will make it pop.

Try black chrome centers with polished outer rim. Because the face of your current wheels is smooth, I think the black chrome would be more noticeable than the ones you show with the rounded spokes.

now I think I found the wheels I was looking for..I didn't want to go 17" but oh well...

I have boss 383 black rims on my cutlass. They look almost exactly like those. I have 17's on the front and 18' on the rear. If you want to check it out if you want. It's under the before and after 2" drop thread in the chassis/suspension/wheels tech forum

I have 16's on my car with BFG sport comp II that are good for at least another season. Also I don't want to go below 50 series and the 17" is a little taller which is not a problem in the back but in the front the 245-50-16's are already cutting a hole in the rear side of the wheel well. I have the Z steering box so the wheels do not rub the 36 mm front bar.

they look nice on your car...I'll matte out the black on mine though

How about polished lips and realllly dark red centers? Might look good without the caps too. I think it would give the illusion of deeper offset.
