the 416 heads are not stock, and the 1.6 rokers are aftermarket
the stock heads are 3927185 1968-76 307-327-350 70cc chamber
oh and i do have a comp-cams length checker, im just lazy

The heads may not be stock to your motor, but they are still stock castings, that's what I was refering to. The rockers are obviously aftermarket, but that seems to be the only part in you're combo that is. You have the tool, just use it to be sure.

heads could be decked too. head gaskets could make a difference. Always check the length if there are non-stock varibles..

if too lazy to check , just drop the original ones and take chance! you may be lucky !

I woulndt ! after doing the length check on mine ;had to shorten .125 ....it`s your choice ! live with it !

i cant use the org. pushrods because this happened:

oh! and to anyone whos buying a pushrod length checker, DO NOT BUY JEGS BRAND! i bout one when i sold that other satty and it was WAY too thick and was bent. its made of aluminum and not steel. piece of crap if you ask me. buy the comp cams one.
