What's My Rear End?

Hi. soooo I'm not sure what rear end I have, and I did look at the sticky about Identification, and mine looks nothing like either of them. Are there any other ways of identifying the rear end? I can't jack it up to tell if it's LSD yet so that will have to wait

As you said not a great pic but its looks like a 7.5. The 8.5 cover looks round.

That was my original thought, the "USE LIMITED SLIP DIFF LUBE ONLY" tag set off a little spark in my brain, however it just raises more questions like, why was the rear end replaced? This car never had a LSD or Posi rear. So it makes me wonder, this whole car is a mystery

if you can lift the left rear wheel off the ground put the car in neutral. If you can spin the wheel by hand withouth much resistance then it's not a posi. If it is a posi that's in good shape you'd have a hard time to turn the wheel
