Need some help on which wheel cylinders I need. My 87 Regal is an original 307/2004R car with the stock 7.5 inch 10 bolt rearend. Do I need the ones with the mounting bolts, or the retainer clips? TIA.

Stock will use the clips. Go back with the bolt in brackets an the manual brake first gen S10 wheel cylinders to really improve pedal feel and performance. Adjust the shoes snug and you are good to go.

With the stock 7.5 rear end and backing plates, you need the clip style. But there is an upgrade, you can get the S10 manual brake wheel cylinders and the bolt on braces that will really secure the wheel cylinder to the backing plate. I know ssn696 went to disc on his rear end and has this set up he was looking to sell. You might message him and see if he still has them...timo22

Where did you find these? Do you have a part#. I have to replace the cylinders on my 84 and would like to do this upgrade. Will these cause the rears to lock up to easy?

No, it will not make the rears lock easier. Some say the manual brake S10 wheel cylinders will cause the rears to lock before the fronts, especially on wet pavement, but others say it is no issue even with the manual brake S10 wheel cylinders.
