Wheel Spacers

I am not using that style.....oofa

1 inch may not work. Those kind of spacers are more accurately wheel adaptors. Basically it needs to be thick enough for the lug nut to screw into the cavity without protruding sometimes a 1 inch thick adaptor may not be enough, just make sure. You then trim the stud so that does not stick out at all. Again it should be hubcentric both hub side and wheel side.
Since you are using the same bolt pattern follow the advice of others and just get longer ARP studs make sure the spacers are hubcentric to your hub and if need be to your wheel.

I just watched a video yesterday of a Monte SS that lost a wheel and spacer at the strip.

He should have used wheel adapters, No way was that wheel adapters. They would not be in one piece after a failure. That looked like a straight 1"+ spacer.

When the guy behind the counter asks " what vehicle?" tell him 2008 Hummer H3 Alpha and suck it.

Awesome thanks!!!

Wheel spacers and adapters are fine. Thin, thick, whatever. Hubcentric is preferred in both instances.

I have 1/2" and 1" spacers on the TBSS with long ARP studs. 1/8" GM shim spacers on the front of the wagon with Strange long studs. I've used spacers and adapters of all sorts - hell I've even launched off a transbrake on 'em.

Good studs are a key component - that and properly torqued lugs.

for the spacer to separate from the wheel and axle he was using really long studs with a cheap wide spacer....all cars should have to go through an inspection at any track.
