I bought these used ARE 15 x 8 wheels for $150 for the set a few years back and thought they would look good on my project Regal and I also put the tri shield logo on the center caps.

Always been a big fan of the Trans Am style Snowflake wheels. There are several variations of them now along with just about any size you could want. The wide lip on the rear is always a plus.

I'm either Old School Cragar SS's or the American Racing Outlaws AR61's (Solid, no holes). I prefer the Cragar SS's but damn, at almost $200 per, and the Outlaws are $100 per

If its not one of those two on a G-Body, then stock for me....

AR61's for me too. Been running them for years and really like the look.

I agree. I fought with myself for a long time over what to get. Between style, color, size and price. It's a big decision to make...

Sure was, did the same with my first set which I really like the wheel itself just didn't want the shiny. So decided to get a different set similar to yours and put my own touch of color on them.

Wheel and tire choice can evoke quite the emotional response to a vehicle.

Case in point, this is the picture that prompted me to buy my wagon sight unseen off of eBay:

And this is what it looks like today:

The wheels are 2 inches larger in diameter, and between 3.5 and 4 inches wider (front to rear). The tires have grown by 90mm in the rear and 60mm in the front. And all I had to do was narrow the frame, re-engineer the suspension, and rework the body to accommodate. My recommendation is: don't compromise on wheels or tires.

I have been considering an all black wheel for my Regal after it is painted and the chrome is blacked out but my one buddy hates the idea.

I have been considering an all black wheel for my Regal after it is painted and the chrome is blacked out but my one buddy hates the idea.

All black is played out in my opinion. I was a huge proponent of the murdered-out look for a long time (it was a running joke (based on fact) that all I had were all-black cars). Colours or tints and contrast (machined or polished surfaces) are a better options as it makes the car uniquely yours. I managed to make this happen with my wife's GMC Canyon Denali wheels last year, they are machined on the spoke surface, with carbon windows, finished in a smoked-tinted top coat - at night they look near-black, until light hits the spokes then they pop with the reflection, and during the day there is a rainbow effect from the machining under the smoked finish when the light cascades off of them (otherwise they just look dark grey). It is like having 3-4 different sets of wheels:
