I need pushrods for my buicks v6 3.8 2 bbl. After accidentally misseated the pushrod last time i built the engine, I put a 45 degree bend in it when I went to start the car. It backfired, etc. I don't want to go to napa where I would have to order the rod, and wait 2 days for them to ship a $3 part. I want someplace that will have the pushrods in stock, and I can walk out the door with it. Will a gm dealership have it? What about a local machine shop or parts supplier like car quest? Any replies are appreciated.

I believe your only option if they are stock pushrods, is to go to the nearest salvage yard and pull some from a motor in the yard. I do not think you will find anyone that stocks 3.8 pushrods.
