First my pup, named Groundhog. 1/2 Heeler, 1/4 Chow, 1/4 Shepard. Decent Cow Dog, Decent guard dog, Great food disposal. What he misses in brains he makes up for with heart. Going on 4 now.

Second is his daddy, Rusty, how would have been 14 this year, past earlier this year. Most loyal dog ever.

I'm loving all the pics!
here are my two, the smaller one (riley) is lab/beagle. we got him from a waitress, at my fav watering hole, who couldn't keep him any more. the bigger one (scrappy), is lab/?? mix. We saved him from a shelter in '06 when he was about 6mos old. just took him in for a dna test last weekend, should know what he is within a few weeks. it'll be nice to ba able to answer the question "what is he?"

Alot of nice looking pups you guys have.. MY last pics of my dog are now different...She got hit by a car after jumping the fence... 😢 Here are a new pics of my trio of "guard" dogs.... Bessie the Boxer and Jack the Chihuahua doing the "rounds" protecting my house... :lol:

And the "chief in command" Daisy... She is the only one who actually earns her keep.. She is actually growling in this pic :lol:

You may remember "Cutlass"....we bought him as a Boxer, but we figure he is actually a Pit/Boxer mix...
When we brought him home at 8 weeks:

^^^Definitely some pit in there somewhere. Will probably be the best dog you'll ever have. Friendly/loyal/goofy all run deep in both breeds.

Definitely has many "Boxerisms"...my Boxer "Ozzy" lived to be about 10, died a few years back....superb friend, he was.
Cutlass is almost nine months now, and exhibits some great traits...he's good with the kids and family, but definitely protective against strangers and other dogs....when he doesn't like ya, you will know it!

I would say he's about 65 lbs right now, and pulls like a freaking truck.
