Umm, because Engerey Suspension bushings have a metal insert molded into them that contacts the frame like OEM which is a source of future rot problems which I already expained in my earlier post above. But I guess it went over both of your heads.

See that gold looking section in the bushing, that's the metal insert that contacts the frame and gets rusty taking the frame mount with it like the stockers. Now if you look at the Prothane bushing picture Pontigp posted, you can easily see they lack such molded in metal inserts. Only poly contacts the frame reducing the risk of rust with that brand. How Pontigp and 06 dodge could miss that  .

so that ring that helps to prevent the bushing from being cut by the frame as it moves is what may cause the frame to rot out prematurely after 25 or 30 years? I'm surprised you are using polyurethane bushings cause in another thread you pointed out why you should not use polyurethane bushings..
Poly will cold-flow, meaning it will deform under pressure and not return to normal, as it lacks the elasticity of the rubber bushings. Over time, they will loosen and then rattle. Check out the shape of your swaybar's poly end-link bushings after only a few months.
...will the frame rot out from the Energy bushings before the body bushings deform under pressure?

I used the energy kit as well, nice kit just don't forget to get new bolts as well. Start spraying them now with WD40 to help your chances of them coming out

What size and grade bolts should be used on body mount bushings?

Position 1 uses GM P/N 10049638 (sold ea., 2 needed). Bolt is 12 X 1.75 X 95mm long.
95mm is not common so you have to use 100mm.

Position 3 uses GM P/N 14085301 (sold by pkgs. of 5, 2 needed). Bolt is 10 X 1.5 X 55mm long. Also need two nuts.

Position 2, 4, 6, 7 uses GM P/N 3524497 (sold by pkgs. of 5, 8 needed). Bolts are 10 X 1.5 X 80mm long.

If you buy from a hardware store get 10.8 grade bolts. similar to grade 8

I ordered my bolts from kirban.com I have the energy suspension bushings on my pick up the fit was perfert. I was wondering if the gbody ones were the same. From you guys anwsers, Id say so.

They were $30 for the set of bolts. I didnt think that price was too bad.

The prices of everything is going up... sucks but such is life i guess

The metric bolts are about double in price compared to an SAE bolt. I don't' see the reason for that difference in price, it's not like it's a specialty bolt or a special order. I wasn't thinking when I did mine. I had to rebuilt 8 body mounts in the body and used the original anchors instead of replacing them all with the SAE fasteners. One problem I had when putting the body back on I could not start any of the bolts cause the body was sitting too high and didn't compress the Energy bushings at all. I bought a couple of longer bolts so I could pull the body down so I could start the correct length bolts.
