Auto racing is a visceral experience. When you remove sound, smell, and vibration, you're left with golf carts on steroids. I don't care how quick your golf cart is; it will never be Top Fuel cool.

Formula 1 due to no budgetary limits and Sprint cars because I can't take my eyes off from a car that goes around a 1/2 mile dirt track that is faster than anything on asphalt of the same distance.
As a kid I watched a young Steve Kinser post race interview at Reading and listening to him describe a feature in which he never lifted - I was hooked right then.
