I'm currently at the stock ride height. The wheels are 15x8 weld prostars with 3.5 backspacing tires are 295 50/15

What kind of tires are they? There is no handling advantage to 295's and if they aren't sticky, 255 stickies will provide much more traction.

The people impressed by 295's non stickies on 8" wide rims are easily impressed.

They aren't sticky just normal street tires my car is currently sitting on the original eagle gt tires so they are way to old to be safe. I mainly am interested in the wheels for the prostars and the 295s just happen to be there. So if they fit I will use them until the car is finished and get some better sticky tires for it. I will not be notching the frame if anything I will roll the wheels wells

Buy the rims and leave the tires there.
