"I don't I have a manual as of now on my Q-JET." I thought we were dealing with a Q-jet. Nevermind.

I guess I'm still confused then. If your new Edelbrock carb already has an electric choke setup, then what is the point of buying a conversion kit? What are you trying to convert? Doesn't the Edelbrock choke just require 12V key on power going to it to function just like a Qjet electric choke?

I don't have the - and + wires ran through it yet, i think that's all I need done.

You don't have to do anything fancy David. Switched 12v power to the + side and the - side grounds to the carb body. You do not need any conversion stuff.

I know I say that all the time, yet I seem to be taking out more money than I have.
I have about 4500 into this car and shes still in the garage.
But I love this car and know its all worth it in the long run.
