Wiper motor

I would first install the lower bolt with the rubber bushing and then slide the wiper motor on that bushing, then put the top two bolts in. I never remove the lower bolt to remove a wiper motor

mine has a ground strap on bottom bolt, but I still cant get my wipers to work

I bought 2 from autozone both we're strapped on the bottom,had alt of difficulty installing this one ,tried it your way with cushion installed,finally got it in ,tightened right top one and the foot snapped,JB welded it ,its working now but still don't have the pause ,change switched nothing changed ,155.00, and still have the same problem,I'm done!

don't give up, I assume you used your circuit board with the new motor. I don't think they make new boards, I would try another board to see if that fixes the problem
 
I looked at my wiper motor and the ground strap in on the top bolt closest to the fender. You can change the location of the strap from the bottom to the top to make installation easier
 
Option B is to take out the DS front wheel and inner fender to gain access to the whole lower firewall
