Wiring diagram worked out great!!! Now my next question: anyone know where I can get an OEM tach filter? Or should we wire up an after market one?

That is what is holding us up right now. Thanks!

try the tach without the filter, it may work fine. If you do need one you get an aftermarket filter

GM Tachometer Filter. Corvette Tach Filter.

This tachometer filter can be used as a direct replacement for the original GM tachometer filter which is no longer available from GM (replacement for 1975-1989 Chevrolet Corvette tachometer filter, and many other 1975-1989 GM vehicles).

Thoughts on how to bypass the tach filter? I'm following all the wires and they keep leading me back to the filter. I think I'm just over thinking this.

tach wire in the interior is white and that'c connected to the brown wire that goes into the filter and a brown wire from the filter to the distributor. Just splice a wire in to bypass the filter.
