i dunno, its supposed to be a 1" drop but that looks like 3 inches to me. i really dont like it unless the front comes down more to give it the right rake. :puke:
heres the rest of the pics:

Hey beer looks like I'm in the same boat as you regarding the drop, chucked in 1" rear drop springs and ended up looking like yours, and after reading your post about your exhaust I'm kind of leery of installing the fronts, if you don't mind me asking what part of your exhaust is hitting the ground, I'm running duals out of stock manifolds. Good thing I didn't already do it put the car on the ground then figure in out

thanks,
wade

well today i got the car scheduled to get towed to the muffler shop on friday(not today next week) and then ill get the exhaust welded up and then back to the shop to get the car tuned right. then prolly gonna get a acclerator pump rebuild kit for my holley. and i found out if i wait til january i can get new classic car plates for 25 bucks. thats way better than just getting a new plate sticker for 130 bucks. imma still try to get the plate that says PUSYLQR. so theres the plan. waiting for payday...

ok well the friday plans fell through because it was black friday and everyone and there grandma needed a tow. so this morning they towed the elky to the muffler shop. i told them what i wanted and they said theyd do it monday. thats ok cuz it my day off...for now.... man i CANT WAIT!!!! im getting soo antsy to drive this thing. i just gotta calm down and get this thing running right before it falls apart. well thats the plan anyway, just though id share! 8)

ok well monday i got the exhaust done and even the guys there said the rear was too low. so now i have to get some new, prolly stock rear springs. like this one in the backround:

and now the shop says i need a new carb. a 600 cfm with manual choke and vacume secondaries. well there goes next paycheck  and thats the plan so far. if anyone out there can help that would be awesome!

Woah, woah! Don't you have a Holley carb? Get that one refurbished/ rebuilt! You don't have any carburator shops around town? You can even Google shops and have it mailed to them, it'll come back looking brand spanking new! You'll pay less than what a new one would cost too. sh*t, you could do it yourself! If your really set on a new carb, then look on CL, find one there and then sell me yours for super cheap! Where is your exhaust hitting at? Does it end before your rear end or over and past it? You always could get a RBFH and customize it to fit! It just seems like these shops are wanting you to spend some of your hard earned money!

well the carb i have is rebuilt, but some pieces are missing or bad. and im tired of spending time on a carb that never really worked properly. the exhaust ends before the rearend, and it would drag the mufflers on bumps and id prolly high center it on a speed bump. so yeah, i need some new rear springs!

today i ordered a 600 cfm holley carb and it should be here by tomorrow. YaY new carb!

does anyone have any stock rear elky springs theyd be willing to part with? imma need some.
