imma wait till january to get my classic car plates for 30 bucks and then drive it once in a while, just to **** with people :twisted:
 
thanx joe! well now its just a waiting game with payday. i owe pat 80 bucks for the manual steering box, then i owe the shop for the tow and the carb tuning. so i dunno what thats gonna be and gas, gonna need some gas. and then i dunno we'll see from there. yay progress...
 
ok this friday im getting classic car plates and i found this: http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/pts/2143935565.html
its a 200r4 for 85 bucks. its gonna need a torque converter and a rebuildthis should help me, i hope, get better mileage and maybe drive on the highway once in a while. so what needs to be done to rebuild a 200r4 and install it in place of a th350? thanx for any help.

You'll need a new crossmember, proper brackets for the TV cable, and a converter lock-up kit.
The cooler lines will also need some fudging to get them to line up.
The driveshaft is the same.
 
With the 4.11's ya have it'll deff be the best of both worlds. And since your not making 350-400hp, I would just do the gaskets bands clutches etc. Just a stock rebuild with a nice 1800-2200 stall converter and you'll be completely happy!
