For that price I will stick with my 40/60 bench seats.

There isn't any "mechanical" issues with my car to speak of.
But still, I can't justify spending that much on seats. If anyone has a good used pair of burgundy regal t type/monte SS seats (backseat is a plus) in one of the states surrounding Iowa, message me.

I picked up a couple of GP buckets at the local junkyard for $80 for the pair. And the drivers side was power. I bought new foams from Jegs ($300 for the pair) and the upholstery kit from Rock Auto for $260. So with miscellaneous stuff like hog rings, pliers, additional foam I ended up with about $800 for this reupholster job. Lots of work, but worth it. The other seats I've had done in the past at local shops were substandard so I'll never go that route again.

I got the entire seats, including the tracks for $65. The driver's seat is power. I was keeping an eye out on a salvage yard site for used seats, not looking for a particular seat, but GM seats for GBody and found that S10 seats fit also. I got the console and shifter for another $100 and now all I need is some brackets to weld. Mine is not a restoration or show car, and I did get the color I needed. They were in like new shape, cleaned and lubed. I only mean to show alternatives to those who are patient and willing to wait, not talk anyone out of the seats they have decided to buy. For me it was about comfort and fit. My wife wanted buckets after I was almost done with the project. It added weeks to it, but then it will be months before I can putt-putt around the back roads again.

Hoping to see this car in person soon. How about a meet up at Freddy's on Kuykendahl, when the Friday cruise nights start up again??

Sounds good to me. I'm always looking for an excuse to get out of the house these days like everyone else. Love to see your GN in person as well.

Those turned out really nice. Good job. Clean, good quality G body seats can be expensive.
