You could buy a set of the Scat Procar Elite seats like mine for less than new seats;
Although they do require brackets,at app $ 30.00 each;
I'm pleased with mine.
They look great,and have more support and are more comfortable than the stock seats.

Looking around, just the new fabric for the seats is anywhere from $380 (gbodyparts) to $579 (classic industries, OPGI, etc), and new foams $150ish for each seat. Even if they don't come with tracks, as long as they are NEW foam and NEW covers, it seems like a good deal.
Since there is no mention of new foam I would presume it is just good condition factory foam at best since new foam, upholstery, base price for the buckets plus labor to do it would exceed the asking price.
But don't you have mechanical and reliability issues that should be taken care of first before doing cosmetic upgrades?
Between $750 for the seats plus shipping and then the need for tracks I feel like I would look for a nice set of used ones, if you have the money a nice set of matching aftermarket seats might work well but at a cost.

800 for seats and 900 in parts from your other post

You could have bought a clean Regal roller!!!!!!!!

Maybe one that even runs!!!

There's still the rear seat to consider, as I don't believe the repro fabrics/vinyls are a direct match to the OE, unless you go to SMS for fabrics (ask mikester how that works out) I HATE mismatched seats, I have walked away from decent deals on cars with hatchet-job seat installs.

I converted my coupe to buckets/console from a MCSS donor ($400) that I bought. Honestly, if the car had had a decent split bench in it (it had rigged-up Jeep seats), I would have gone that way in hindsight. I always wanted a bucket seat Malibu, but looking at it now, leaving it a bench and going to black instead of staying Carmine/Maple would have been faster, easier, and cheaper. And that's considering that I got free seats and console/tilt FS column from the donor car.

If your Regal has the Claret interior, just stay the course. They turn up pretty regularly, compared to the other colors. LOTS of MCSS that get parted with the Claret interior, least around here.

I'd bet closer to $1100 by the time he pays the truck freight + tax on the seats

I spoke to Mike before I had my seats redone. Thats back when I was looking for a set of doner seats. I dont know why but those G body seats bring big $$ for junk. I paid top dollar for a set just to get good frames and tracks. I stripped the two of them down, sandblasted the pans, painted them all up and took them to an upholstery shop only to get bent over again. I bought the new seat buns through the shop ( a huge mistake ) and by the time I was done I think the fronts cost me close to $1500 and I supplied the cloths. It wasnt cheap.
Im not sure if Mike still does this but for a while he was getting the correct OEM cloths from SMS and he had a shop redoing seats to original. Im sure it was quite a bit more than the seats hes selling there. Call him and ask if thats still an option. At least it would be a correct match.

And yeah, SMS was a horrible place to deal with. I cant believe theyre still in business. It took months to get my order right.

One way to look at it is how much for a good set, new covers (possible a set for the rear to match), seat foam, side covers/seat trim, if need the seat tracks, shipping of needed materials. Sometimes just waiting it out may work out better. Just don't be like me & pass on a set of perfect seats for $50 cause their color (still kicking self in @$$ two years later.)
I have heard that SEM paints and dyes are at the top of the color match and quality scale for vinyl and fabrics.

I use PPG's original line of interior colors to recolor what I need for my interior (I do know PPG now owns SEM too) & I have enough on hand to of recolored the seats but I was just a dumb @$$ for passing on them.
