Would this be a good trade?

I have my cutlass salon 85
and this man want's to trade me his 82 cutlass supreme.

They look identical but he has a 350.
That's pretty much the difference.

I was just wondering if I should trade I got some pictures here of both cars I really just want some help and possibly another opinion on this deal I believe it would be a great deal but all the sweat, tears and time on this car just to trade when I get it finished.

So please give me your honest opinion.

i say keep yours. you have a nice interior, rallye pac, descent buckets. never know what your getting into rust wise with his. you know what you have.

if your set on trading, make sure to look over the floors, rear frame rails, and the usual real good, i'm sure you know that. 🙂

hands down keep the salon.....................they made thousands of those cutlass supremes, probably 500 thousand between the broughams and supremes from 81 t0 88. i guarantee you they only made under 2000 salons in any given year, and salons were not offered in all years, and were order only cars unless you bought the showroom display. basically salons are as rare as 442's ..........if not more rare

From a guy that does quite a bit of trading...I WOULD KEEP YOUR CAR much better interior and I would just throw a 350 in there!! You have put too much work into yours!!

Yeah very true that's what me and My wife have been talking about, she said the same thing if we get this car it could breakdown or be a horrible trade.

I was honestly thinking the same thing haha, Just gas around here is 4:15 a gallon and this is my daily friver I don't have pockets that deep haha.
But i think I am just going to keep everything original Possibly rebuild or get a new carb though cause my choke is messing up really bad.
