Not sure if you guys remember me or not. I had an 81 Malibu that I put together with some of your parts. Well..sold it in May 13 and went with a 72 LeMans Sport loaded with GTO parts and a BB Chevy. Sold that in March 16 and now my dream car...88 IROC!
My point here is...you guys were so helpful and willing to offer your opinions on what worked for you. The A body forum/F body forum members seem like everything is a big freaking secret. I couldn't find any answers or get help on anything for my LeMans. The Camaro forums are just as bad. You post something and in a day or two 500 views but no responses...for things they should have answers for. Really disappointed...I just noticed you guys have a forum for non G projects. As we all know...Camaros 82-92...3rd Gen...share a lot of pieces with G's. Im just saying thank you for being such a tight group of enthusiasts...and I do have some issues I'm dealing with on this car....Administrators???? Can I get help here occasionally??...just asking...thanks guys!!!

Welcome back. I'd love to see a build thread on a 3rd gen Camaro. Cool car. I'll help any way I can.

Sure! There is a lot of Non-G Body knowledge here too. I have no problem with you posting about it, just make sure you try to put it in the Non G Projects forum. I have a soft spot for 3rd gen f bodies too.

They allowed my wrong wheel drive supercharged 97 Monte so I'd assume you're gold lol. And BTW I'm helping my Lil brother build an 88 iroc 🙂

You and your Camaro are welcome here. I like 3rd Gens too. I'm not a big fan of working on them myself but I like the way they look and can definitely appreciate the work that goes into building one. Start a thread in the Non G section. I never understood those forums where nobody wants to help anybody out. I thought that's one of the main reasons to join a forum, to share knowledge. Around here we tend to try to help one another out. I guess it shows. Glad we could help. Stick around and maybe we'll convince you to get another G Body!

First, Turdgen.org is pretty hit or miss - very protectionist attitude, and heaven forbid you speak ill of the platform or suggest there is a mullet involved in ownership. I do miss my '91 Z28. 3rd Gen F-bodies and G-bodies are very similar cars, and very easy to service. Much better than doing work on a 4th Gen F-body.

GTOforum.com are a bunch of dickbag elitists with a huge chip on their collective shoulders. These are the kind of guys who would rather sit around in a folding chair talking about chalk marks on firewalls, than be out using their cars. I could not relate to those asshats.

G-body folks tend to be more salt of the Earth people and have very few hang ups. I do really enjoy it here.
