It is on the drivers side of v6 cutlass's. At least thats how mine is the v8 is on pass side and v6 on drivers side. Not sure if it helps any.

Re: 454 questions You really need the casting numbers from the heads before you know what you got. My 454 came from a one ton work truck and it had 781 heads. But at 300 you can buy used heads off cl i seen some 781 head for 250the the other day. So i wouldn't stress to much on them.

I have two non a/c boxes one which is on it but i havent hooked vents up. It came out of a el camino and is going in a cutlass are all the underdash vent work the same? And there is a non a/c box on another elcamion down the road from me at the junkyard.

Do you have any pictures of it installed in your car?

Is there anybody that makes an a/c delete plate that has the drip rail or whatever that piece is called? I am looking to block off my heater box but would like to not have missing spot on the block off plate.

Where can they be found at?

And that is what I am worried about. I hope I don't have to start looking for a new frame.

I know they are supposed to hang off its that bottom part up off the frame that I am worried about.

Ya I am going to put in a 454 in it. I thought maybe thats how it was but a buddy of mine has an el camino with them and his lays flat.

Ok so I was trying to put the solid motor mounts on my frame today. I was working on the passenger side first. When I put the bolts in I noticed the bottom of the mount was off the frame. Then I got to looking at the frame and seen that on both sides it kinda has a crease. Is this a problem...
