Last winter left me not being able to do squat and this summer I was busy having fun... and took on a few other projects. Just started up on the car again, sold the engine trans over the summer.
Finished dismantling the front end the other day and power washed the engine bay.
Next step is to remove the dash and AC unit, brake booster and start wire wheeling everything.

Started to remove the ground kit as well, I come to find that someone put some serious money into installing the kit and it's been on there for quite some time... my guess late 80s.
Someone took the time to strip all the paint off the body and paint the car GM white.
It was painted again at a later date white again but more of an Artic white.

Everything stripped and ready for paint.
Ordered Medium Silver WA8536 from www.paintscratch.com to paint the firewall and see how good their products are.
Does anyone have the paint code for the frame and inner sheetmetal?

Looks good, Mike!

Honestly, it still bugs me what a steal of a deal you got on that car! lol
As much as I appreciate the aero-kit, I'm glad to see this one go back to it's stock appearance.

I'll get my '84 H/O someday... 8)

Seller didn't know what they had, no way to tell if it was a Hurst Olds through all the butchering.
It was their son's who was disabled and needed to get rid of it ASAP, was a great deal IMO 8)
Can't wait to get it all back together, if the Aero kit doesn't sell I may put it back on... was hoping someone would make an '88 H/O out of it.
