Well... I guess I should have done a little bit more research on the wheels. I can use either set I guess...

Use the 8s and add a spacer to bring them away from the frame...

or

Use the 10s with the 275/60s on em and go from there...

If it would look like this I would be all for it...

He says the rear wheels are 15x10 4.5" backspace which are what my wheels are... so....

Chris,
I'm guessing you'd be good with 3/8's or 1/2" spacers. Just make sure your studs have enough thread on them to keep your wheels on. You might have to consider going with longer studs. Just a thought. I think the 8" rims look good on there...and you're using 255/60's on there?

The wagon looks good, If you plan on using wheel spacers I would definitely replace the studs with some longer and stronger studs and since you have zero tire clearance I think a 1/2'" spacer would be the minimum you could use.
I also would not run a 275/60 on a 10" rim it is too wide for the tire and is not recommended.
And one thing I was wondering about your dual gauge set up did you test fit the gauges? It looks like the gauge bezels are going to hit your shifter case before they get fully seated.

Looking back i see that you went with 275/60's. I would either exchange them with 255's or go the spacer route and replace the studs.

Looks like I am gonna have to do something with some spacers. Not really wanting too but.... LOL

Doing some research on spacers over the last couple days I have found out that the max spacer you can get is 1/2". If you go up from there you have to use the adapter/spacer type of deal. From what I was reading on the boards seems like on an 8" wheel a 3.5" backspace is about perfect... So maybe a 1 inch spacer would work best?

---

About the gauge panel. Yes I did notice what you were talking about with the gauge bezels hitting the shifter cover. I actually have the cover at work right now to modify it some more if I can get a free second or two... It just needs a little more massaging to make it fit perfect.

thanks

Yeah they are 275/60s that I bought for my 68 C-10 project last year but have totally changed the direction for the truck so wont be using them so I figured use them on the car since they were "free" LOL So spacers and studs it is i guess. Always one more thing to do right? LOL

Best place to locate proper wheel studs for the g body chassis? Factory rear end.
