I was given this 83 grand prix from my grand mother, so its a sentimental car for me and not my first choice of a build. But after seeing the incredible builds on this forum ive came to the conclusion that being a grandma grocery getter , dosent mean it cant become a truly amazing project that would become a great ride.
And so my adventure begins...

Now my plan was to start with the suspension, but sometimes things pop up that i cant resist. Found these seats on craigs list for a great price. 20170122_115724.jpg 20170122_115705.jpg

I was considering a GP for my next project if I couldn't find a Regal but I wanted to do the 2+2 nose conversion on one.
I like that yours at least doesn't have a vinyl top to deal with, would make a great sleeper.

Now on with the suspension.
I put on some 2" lowering springs in the the rear for a A body from cpp and some kyb shocks . Was a little nervous about the springs .
20170124_164637.jpg the unsprung height difference is about 2 inches .
But on the car they did what i wanted 20170128_152638.jpg 20170128_152646.jpg
Now i did order the viking coil overs, new upper control arms , tall upper ball joints and a compete front end rebuild kit to tackle the sloppy steering . Now just to find the time to get that installed.

Looks like a great car and it will definitely become an amazing ride. Now you got buckets you'll need a floor shifter and console. Good luck with the project.

Managed to find some time this weekend to get the coil overs and front suspension in. 20170304_114943.jpg 20170304_114926.jpg 20170304_181101.jpg
And the final result.

Now its starting to look like a cruiser instead of the grocery getter.
