I buffed the corner of the coil and ran a couple grounds directly to the coil, also if I get my power probe within a foot or so of the coil it freaks out, lights blink and all that
Do you have a good block to frame to body ground (4ga minimum)?

HA! HA! I'm a damn genius lol! It's not caused by any wiring issue, it's induced voltage by proximity to ignition sources, probably because my old plugs weren't resistor plugs and the new one are I'm guessing? I wrapped my radio in aluminum foil and it sounds great. I'm gonna look into remote mounting my coil I guess. Thanks for the responses!!

Where is your coil?
Don't wrap the radio; it has an amplifier and needs to breathe.

Coil is in the cap, I won't leave it wrapped im gonna relocate my ignition box and look into a different distributor so I can hide the coil from my radio

I know what u mean, ive been turning wrenches for 15 years and haven't seen it on anything else but for some reason it is, I'm almost done moving my ignition box now
