Really?? If you have any pics of it, I'd love to see it.

Unfortunately, no pics. My uncle passed away in 2000. I’m not sure what happened to the car. Actually, I think he may have sold it shortly before his passing. I know the last collector car he had before he died was a ‘75 911 Turbo. The 356 was a white coupe.

Sorry to hear that. I hope he had many years of enjoyment with his cars prior to his passing.

Steve,
I always liked the P1800 body style. I knew a guy years ago that had the wagon version. I believe it was the P1800ES? Was that one yours? I know you owned a 122.

When I was 8 the GT 40 was the most beautiful car I had ever seen. I had a toy one that sat on my dresser.

The first car I remember being truly consumed with was the good old '57 Chevy...
My G-body bug had already been planted, but man, NOTHING was cooler than this to little 5-year-old Blake!

I owned the 122 and always wished for the P1800 sedan or wagon. That wagon style was so popular that Volvo brought it out again claiming it was a new design. I don't know how Volvo did it but the new wagon had more problems than the original one had

I'm with Blake on this one... my Great grandma had a 2 dr post car, that I absolutely loved! every time that we traveled to see her, I'd run in, and after an acceptable time , I'd run out to see the chevy in the garage!

I think I've actually seen the new version. They don't look that bad, but I'd still rather own the original version.
I think the new Volvos are made in either China or India...I'm not quite certain, but the Swedes knew what they were doing.
