C heads fit on a 403 olds?

I have a chance to buy C heads to replace my j heads.But will they fit on a 403 with a edelbrock rpm intake? I know they can fit big block and small blocks but just wondering if it needs anything extra to fit the 403

USED C heads for Oldsmobile V8. These are "4bbl" C heads (2.070" intake valve).

C heads are big block, 403 is small block....

Why would someone bother putting on J heads? The C heads will flow better, price depends on condition. As said, drill out the head bolts and one dowel as well. The shop may have opened the intake ports already.

I don't know why they would put j heads on my car after all the motor work the previous owner did. Any idea how much it would cost to get them heads to get worked and put on? I could still use my intake? Or am I better off just waiting? 200 for this pair

Any chance you can measure the valves? I think there were 2.02 and 2.07 versions.
