I can not disagree with you more.

Milwaukee is a decent power tool but imo they cant even touch DeWalt's 20volt

Not to mention during Sept 11 DeWalt dove up in an 18 wheeler and said here you go take whatever you need.

I always buy Dewalt first.

I worked at a Dodge dealer and those smug dicks always bragged about making payments on a 5k toolbox.

Yeah there's a couple of those at my work. One kid's parents bought him a brand new Black Knight box and a ton of snap on stuff to fill it. Take a guess on what people think about him . But for the most part none of us younger guys are tool snobs. There's a few older guys who have some incredible sets, one guy has a Ford special edition Cornwell box that he won for being the Greatest-Ford-Mechanic-of-All-Time-in-the-Whole-World or whatever. Has his name engraved on it, lights inside the drawers, bluetooth speakers and all kinds of fancy stuff. My box is a really old beat up Cornwell that I bought from the guy I replaced. He was retiring and didn't want to lug it home. I'll probably do the same thing when I move on because I don't really have a use for it outside of work.

I do have a couple snap on things and some s-k I bought when I worked auto body, but thats pretty much it.

Their bacon is just ham! :p
Yeah, back bacon. Most of us prefer side bacon. What I really don't care for is uncured side pork, my parents used to pawn that sh*t off as bacon, gimme my nitrates and salt:). It was a shame, our free range pigs were really nice.

They must have really upped their game. That is all Dad had as a carpenter for tools, they were OK. I broke his corded Dewalt reciprocating saw and the batteries died quickly in the drills. My corded Milwaukee reciprocating saw has a nice short stroke, perfect for exhaust. I also found their batteries lasted forever in the drills at the one place I worked. Realize now, I am going to buy one and really abuse it:).

Yes the 18volts where good as new but once they got a little old they took a huge dive.

The Nicad batteries are like that no matter what brand.

But if you think they were bad try using the same cordless tool of that day in a Milwaukee.

After talking to the mother-in-law I might be getting another Waterloo rolling box. The hospital she works at uses them for supply & crash carts, gave us boys each one 12 years ago cause they were going to be scrapped. Now they are supose to get new ones soon so I hope to save another one from being scrapped. Free is better than anything I would pay, even better bragging rights than being able to buy a 5K box.
When I worked at Fastenal I sold Waterloo boxes. They make a really nice box!

Just have to wash the Herpeghonnesyphilaids off it, and you'll be golden!

Cheap DeWalt compatible batteries.

Biswaye High Capacity 5000mAh 20V Max Premium XR Lithium Ion Replacement Battery for Dewalt DCB205 DCB204 DCB203 DCB200 DCB206 Dewalt DCD/DCF/DCG Series https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06XYMGF6M/?tag=rippca-20

Makes up for the imitation bacon.

I'm using one on my small 1/2 impact and I have yet to charge it. Pretty good since it's done the motor and suspension install so far.

I used to know a couple guys that worked at Waterloo, back when they were actually made in Waterloo. There's still a Waterloo box in my mother's garage that belonged to my late father.
