Springs !

I realize there are not supposed to be any stupid questions, so if this is one please do not judge me on it.
I have a new pair of 2” lower front coil springs left over from a 55 Chev project. The unsprung height is 13” and the o.d. is 5”.
Will these fit my 81 Malibu?

before using an unknown spring I would have it rated for it's spring rate and what the height of the spring is with the load of your car on the spring. What is the diameter of the wire and number of coils?

The number of coils is 8. The diameter of the wire is 5/8”.

I’m really looking for a lowered stance and better handling. Not a mushy ride, but more firm and responsive.

but it doesn't explain what springs he has......once he gets them spring rated we can go from there....

I called the company that manufactured the springs.
They will not fit as the ends are incorrect to seat properly.
